Market leader in fuels in Paraguay

The company operates in the retail and commercial markets

We started operations in Paraguay in April 2006 in the fuel and lubricant distribution and marketing segment, in retail and on the commercial market. Among the products offered are gasoline, diesel, alcohol, aviation products, fuel oil, asphalt, lubricants, and LPG.

Due to its geographical position, Paraguay is strategic for Petrobras, as it is near Brazil, Argentina, and Bolivia. This logistic increment has a great growth potential with Petrobras' current assets in the Southern Cone.

We have around 170 service stations throughout Paraguay, many of them including convenience stores (Spacio1 and Minimercado). We also operate in the LPG and aviation product trade at the airports for the cities of Asunción and Ciudad del Este.

Petrobras is the market leader for fuels (gasoline and diesel) in Paraguay, having the largest share of the market (currently, 21% of sales), mainly due to the quality of the innovative products offered. Among them, the Lubrax line of lubricants stands out, positioned on the market with an Import Share of 18%, which makes Petrobras the largest importer of lubricants in the country.
