Peru

We started operating in Peru in 1996, and since then have made many investments in that country. Currently, our production capacity in Lot X, located in the Talara Basin, Northeastern Peru, is 16,000 barrels per day.

In addition to this production capacity, we hold stakes in exploratory assets in Northern and Southern Peru, in four different basins: Marañon, Huallaga, Madre de Dios, and Ucayali.

Our business in the country is always done with social and environmental responsibility. We follow-up on the communities’ socioeconomic growth by means of guidelines and policies that encourage the population’s sustainable development.

Together with the authorities and the civil society, we also undertake a series of projects focused on five lines of action: Education, Job Generation, Environment, Infrastructure, and Institutional Reinforcement.
