Sustainable development with citizenship

We value sustainable development and have society as a partner in our commitment to the planet’s future.

In everything we do, from managing our business to searching for new sources of energy, we seek to be the reference in social and environmental responsibility. In our daily activities, we have proven it is possible to ally profitability with respect for people and for the environment.

That is why our activities are based on the principles set forth by the United Nations (UN) Global Compact. We are committed to carrying our actions out in an integrated manner, ethically and transparently, valuing human and cultural diversity, encouraging sports, and promoting citizenship and respect for Human Rights.

Our commitment translates into acknowledge:
- We are listed in Dow Jones’ Global Sustainability Index (DJSI).
- We are part of the Global Compact’s Board.
- We are associated to the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
- We are partners of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) for cooperation in low income communities in Latin America and in the Caribbean.
